The ‘Couv is Rockin’

Josh and I have been working on some websites lately for random churches that have asked us. They somehow got our contact information from an old friend of Josh’s from Eastern that now dj’s and works as a music producer in Vancouver, WA. ‘Cuz you know, the ‘Couv is the music capital of the world!

We’re currently working on a site for Bible Fellowship Community Church – a multi-cultural church in vancouver that in reality is closer than some of the churches in the area. They’re a smaller congregation of about 75 people and probably 50% are African American and the others are whities. And in Vancouver – that’s pretty neat.

And here’s their current site. It’s kinda all over the place, but there’s a simon says game under the calendar menu that’s super addicting. Let us know what you think!

for my boogers..

i decided i’m just going to start designing cards and printing them. who knows what will come out of it.

i’m also going to print some of these bird shirts, not sure of the color yet, but if there’s interest, i will get this order going and get them printed as well. so if you want one, leave me a comment. i found a printer that does screenprints for way cheap up in olympia. american apparel shirts even, yay for no sweatshops! jeana said she’d buy 2. love you beana!

whenever i am at a lost for things to do, i find myself gravitating to these sites. actually, come to think of it, even when i have things i should be doing, i find myself at these places. josh affectionately calls this putzing. or maybe not so affectionately, since it drives him crazy. more on putzing later.

these are the people that inspire me to make and create. knit little bags for the ipoddy, screen print shirts and cards, design websites, sew crazy felt monsters, and draw birds. chip once told me that i should make cute things and sell them as a living. and these people are doing it.

this list can truly go on and on.

i’m making a conscious effort to blog more. so for fodder, i’m going to start off by sharing some of my favorite things. definitely more to come.
